burbank

While Burbank may reside in Walla Walla County, due to its proximity to the city of Pasco, it is more often associated with the Tri Cities metropolitan area. Since Burbank’s initial growth in the mid 20th century due to the completion of the McNairy Dam, Burbank has remained a small humble community with low to moderate growth. Most of the people who work in Burbank find jobs in manufacturing, construction, education, and retail; however, because the cities of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland are so close, residents are not limited to finding a job in Burbank itself. The Mc Nary Wildlife Refuge is also located in Burbank where you can visit the education center and hike around the ponds looking for eagles that perch in the treetops and view a variety of wildlife.
